Among the hills of Umbria, between Rome and Florence with the Apennines at a beautiful but safe distance sits our wonderful 12th century village, Saragano. The village holds apart from our villa, a restored medieval fort including a Restaurant, a Wine bar and a Spa.

On the small square you can sit in the evening tasting the local Montefalco wine while you have a pizza to eat and listening to local music. This is the place to bring yourself with family and friends away from the daily stress.

The local wine is famous and the food and olive oil fantastic. You have the first wine producer within walking distance and another 10 in the area.

Apart from enjoying Saragano, there are plenty of towns and villages nearby to visit, the most famous being Assisi, Perugia and Todi.

The house is a modern 400 m² villa with its 7 bedrooms, 2 kitchens, 5 bath/shower rooms, dining room for 16 at the table, gym, wifi, extensive gardens with 150 olive trees and fruit trees to pick from. A large pool (5 x 12 m) with a pergola provides the natural center of activity.

After a 2 hour drive from Fiumicino airport in Rome, you arrive at Villa Caprifoglio already prepared for you by Daniella, the house lady. During our years in Saragano we have established a network of people that helps out with all house work and gardening. Lucia, who speaks perfect English, will provide any help you may require, for example to arrange for local food prepared by the ladies in the village to be brought to the villa. The house wife, Daniela looks after the garden and the villa.

This fantastic setting opens up for many alternatives. Gatherings of friends and family is the most obvious but conferences with 30 – 40 people may be organised as well.

You may rent the villa for €1900/week (period june - august) and €1600/week for the rest of the year.
